Our Story – How did we
get here?

In 2010, after leaving a role working on a community project, my wife Dawn was looking for her next challenge. As a military spouse, she had spent many years supporting service life and working within the military community. She also taught bookkeeping and IT skills to military spouses, helping them gain valuable qualifications and opportunities while navigating the unique demands of military family life.
While looking for her next venture, Dawn discovered that the PRI shop at Larkhill Camp, Royal Artillery Barracks, was looking for new owners. Recognising an opportunity to continue supporting the military community in a different way, she took on the business and began what would become an exciting new chapter for our family.
At the time, I was still serving in the British Army. Having joined as a Boy Soldier, I went on to serve for 25 years, progressing through the ranks and eventually completing my career as a Warrant Officer Class 1 (WO1). While Dawn established and developed the business, I continued my military career and supported where I could.
When I completed my Colour Service and left the Army, I joined the business full-time. Together, we combined Dawn’s business experience and understanding of military families with my service knowledge and experience, creating a business built around the needs of the Armed Forces community.
What began as a single PRI shop supplying green kit and military essentials quickly grew. Over the years, we expanded our operations and opened two additional shops, broadening our range of products and services to meet the changing needs of serving personnel, veterans, units, and military families.
As the business evolved, we introduced embroidery, engraving, and framing services alongside our traditional green kit sales. This allowed us to create personalised gifts, presentation pieces, military memorabilia, and framed displays that marked achievements, promotions, retirements, and significant milestones throughout military careers.
After 15 successful years serving the military community from Wiltshire, we decided it was time for a quieter pace of life and relocated to rural Wales. Although our surroundings changed, our commitment to the Armed Forces community remained exactly the same.
Today, our business operates online, enabling us to continue serving customers throughout the UK and beyond. Our focus is on producing high-quality engraved presentation items, embroidered clothing, and professionally framed badges and military memorabilia.
We also specialise in bulk orders of custom rank slides and embroidered patches for units, associations, cadet organisations, and veterans’ groups. In addition, we produce bespoke embossed and printed notebooks that can be personalised for courses, presentations, events, and corporate use.
As a veteran-run and military-family business, we understand the pride, traditions, and standards that matter to those who serve and their families. Every item we create reflects the attention to detail, professionalism, and personal service that have guided us from the very beginning.
From a single PRI shop at Larkhill to an online business based in the Welsh countryside, our journey has always been centred on one goal: providing quality products and exceptional service to the military community. We are proud of where we started, grateful for the support we have received, and look forward to continuing that mission for many years to come.
